I
am 19 years old and I experienced symptoms of hormonal imbalance including irregular periods, unwanted facial hair growth, random headaches, and hot flashes. So, I consulted Hema. She offered me meal plans which increased my vegetable, fruit, bean, nuts and seeds intake. Initially, I did feel unsatisfied with my meals and felt as though I was not consuming enough food. However, as the diet became a routine my body was able to adapt to this new normal and I realized that the amount I was eating was actually all I needed to function. Furthermore, I would have more energy while studying and in general throughout the day which helped me feel accomplished. With the addition of all this nutritious food, I had a clearer mind, making me feel fresher, day by day. After about a month and a half, I noticed a drastic decrease in my weight. The growth rate of my unwanted facial hair also decreased and became finer, making the surrounding skin softer. After almost 5 months, I had lost 16 kg (without any exercise routine). My cycles became more regular after 3 months and I stopped experiencing random headaches and hot flashes as well. So evidently, I was able to benefit a lot by this change in my diet and I would recommend everyone, even those without any health concerns, to try to follow this diet, because it will make you healthy inside and out.
